This self-catered apartment is set in a recently completed Private Condominium, with pleasant garden and 2 swimming pools; one for adults and one for children. This bright, daylight filled, ground floor apartment is located near the beach and the centre of the town of Alvor. Accommodation comprises one bedroom with a double bed, living room with dining and sitting areas and a settee that makes into two individuals beds, full bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The outdoor patio has an area of 5 sqm next to the garden and pools. This privileged location offers easy access by foot to the beach and town for restaurants, supermarket, chemist and the Private Hospital of Alvor.

The apartment is 75 sqm and includes the following amenities:
a) 1 bedroom with a double bed;
b) Living room with dining and sitting areas, and with 1 sofa-bed with two individuals beds;
c) Cable TV, with English speaking channels;
d) DVD player and stereo;
e) Complete kitchen with microwave, fridge and freezer, a washing machine and dish washer;
f) Bathroom with bathtub;
g) Highchair and baby cot available;
h) Bed linen and towels provided;
i) Underground parking space.

Air-conditioning available on the living room and main bedroom. The building has an elevator with access to the underground parking, being accessible to wheelchair.

Alvor is a fishing village located 5 km west of Portimão. The village itself is a maze of cobbled streets and a 16th-century parish church with a fine Manueline portal featuring a round arch and abstract floral motifs.

As well as Alvor beach itself, there are some lovely golden stretches of sand towards Portimão, most notably the small cove of Praia dos Três Irmãos with its magnificent red cliffs. Further east are the deserted caves and grottoes at João de Areus and the quiet, secluded beach of Praia do Vau nearby. Further east, the bustling fishing port of Portimão has many good restaurants and plenty of night-life.

My husband and I stayed in Paulo's apartment for 10 nights and found it to be very clean and spacious. We ate out in the evenings but the kitchen appeared to be well stocked with pans,utensils etc if guests wished to prepare an evening meal. The agent Jose, was very pleasant and helpful and the apartment , towels and bedding were all very clean.
We have stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on Vila da Praia before, so knew all about the complex. We still think that it is in an excellent position in Alvor, being handy for the town, beach and marina. The pool is very good and the gardens well maintained. This apartment is well positioned in the complex having easy access through automatic gates, if you have a car, as we did. The rear patio and grassed area are in a quiet spot just round the corner from the pool.
All in all, an excellent choice, I'm sure we'll be staying here again.


Have recently returned after spending a great week in Alvor. The holiday apartment was excellent. We have a 2 year old and it proved ideal for our stay. Apartment block and pool are very nice and the location is excellent in terms of beach, promenade and shops/restaurants. Also airport pickup and return was excellent and very good value.

We Stayed at Paulo's apartment for ten days in May.It was ideally situated for the beach and town. The use of the garden was a bonus you get the sun most of the day.We have been to Alvor 6 times and this was the best aparment so far. The nightlife is great and the food is lovely there are so many pubs and restaurants you are spoilt for choice.The local people are really nice and freindly. We will be booking again. PS. the apartment really was like home from home.
